An early morning start in the dark and a ride up to Nant y Moch via Llandre and Talybont. Then across to Pendam for 3 laps of the Pendam Trail.

It was very quiet up there to start with but I did see a few people on my 3rd lap. It was reassuring to be overtaking them despite the fact that they were fresh out of the car park and I had already done 30 odd miles.

I then rode back down the same way as I went up.

Quite a bit of it was on the road but I still covered just over 50 miles in 5 hours so it was a decent length ride on knobblies.
